Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering of Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Polytechnic, Nagpur. We started our journey in the year of 2013.Over the last 11 years, we have grown our Expertise & competence in the core Electrical Engineering curriculum. Electrical Engineering department aims to nurture young talents with technical training to tackle real-world challenges. With a blend of experienced faculty, the department focuses on theoretical and practical approaches. The department has well-equipped laboratories and provides opportunities for collaborative growth through its technical society, This department is continuously undergoing transformation. New initiatives have been launched related to academics, student affairs, extracurricular activities. The students & faculty members of the department are sincerely participating in various activities organized at institute or at other places. It is elevating to see the sound performance of students. The Department of Electrical Engineering (EE), established in 2023 with a intake of 30 students, is committed to delivering quality education, fostering innovation, and advancing research in the field of electrical sciences and technology. The department’s goals focus on developing technically competent, research-oriented, and ethically responsible engineers equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address the evolving needs of the energy and power sectors. Its core values emphasize academic excellence, integrity, innovation, teamwork, and a lifelong commitment to learning and sustainable technological development.
As an essential part of the institution, the department plays a significant role in strengthening the academic and research environment by encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, industry engagement, and practical exposure. It aims to cultivate a spirit of innovation among students through hands-on learning, project- based education, and community-driven engineering solutions. Although newly established, the department is steadily progressing toward achieving institutional accreditation and recognition, reflecting its dedication to maintaining high academic standards and contributing to the institution’s mission of excellence in technical education and societal advancement.
