People skills are an integral part of any personality development programme. A pleasing personality is one, that has a balance in behavior and is moderate in his or her reactions in public, while simultaneously maintain a friendly, approachable, yet sensible approach towards people. The developing personality is one, that has attributes that are enviable; the ability to perform well in public and be able to hold your own and make an impression on people with your skills socially and as a good personality, is something that cannot be matched up to by any other skill.
Personal development within the context of undergraduate, Diploma education is a complex issue. The underlying personality of the individual graduate and his/her life experiences out with the college have a major influence on personal development, as do experiences relating specifically to their training. Personality development is, of course, an ongoing, life-long process but it is possible to identify a number of important outcomes for the undergraduate period.
